International Women’s Day 2021

The fight for women’s rights is of course every day, but today especially let us celebrate the accomplishments of women, while also discussing the many things still left to be accomplished.

From the right to education to the right bodily autonomy, the human rights of women are especially under attack around the world on a daily basis. To call attention to human rights violations it is important to consider this; as human rights are being violated, they are being violated even worse for women.

The EHF has and will continue to stand for the rights of women, the right to bodily autonomy, the right to love, and the right to live according to one’s own personal wishes.

Today on International Women’s Day, we would like to especially call attention to the situation in Poland, where women’s right to abortion has been even more restricted than ever before. The EHF stands with the women in Poland on this, and will continue to advocate for their freedom.
