International Safe Abortion Day: photos from the Brussels mobilization
28 September was the Global Action Day for Safe and Legal Abortion and all around the world demonstrations were held for securing this fundamental right that many women in the world are still denied.
The EHF took part in the mobilization in Brussels. We propose below a set of the best slogans at this demonstration that gathered more than 1000 people, including Belgians and people coming from all corners of the European Union.

- In reference to the 8th amendment to the Irish consititution that equates the mother’s and the foetus’ life and therefore blocks any hope to further abortion rights in Ireland. The good news is that Ireland has recently declared that a referendum on the topic will be held next year.
